The Facility Management/Site Lead will be responsible for overseeing the task requirement and methodology used to achieve expected results.   They will work independently to coordinate activities of skilled trades workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings and grounds services and support for government, commercial, and industrial customers.    


Includes the following:

  • Experience working in UXO areas and impact areas.
  • DU Frisker qualified.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment and able to complete equipment repairs.
  • Must be able to obtain First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
  • Must be able to qualify for a pass to enter unclassified DoD areas.
  • Knowledge of herbicide spraying.
  • US citizen or US issued work permit.
  • Ability to read RFMSS and match with SDZ's.
  • Schedule flexible in order to accommodate openings to work around training schedules.
  • Work is diverse requiring the ability to establish priorities, interpret conflicting data, and redirect efforts with little forewarning.
  • Will have frequent contact with client personnel in completing assignments and resolving problems.
  • Serve as liaison to Directorate of Public Works.
  • Provide guidance on courses of action required for routine and emergency maintenance.
  • Oversee maintenance contracts for critical systems.
  • Respond to customer/occupant requests and requirements ensuring safety, OSHA, ADA and regulatory standards are maintained in MDA facilities.
  • Influence new construction and facility acquisitions with lessons incorporating facilities expertise and experience.
  • Schedule, coordinate and monitor the performance of vendors pertaining to facilities.
  • Manages MDA facility parking; enforcing policy and assignment.

  • Directs the development of new processes and procedures to increase performance and preclude operational shortfalls.


Supervises assigned personnel. Sets work procedures, priorities, levels of responsibility, and objectives for assigned program(s). Assigns and directs work. Determines the means, methods, and materials for performing work. Plans the work operation.


Position requires an Associate Degree and two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination experience and education in heavy vegetation removal with a portion of that being in a supervisory role.  Must have certification equivalent to the skill labor team assigned.  Appropriate security clearance will be necessary per contract or sector requirements.

  • Proficiency in utilized software programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize, lead and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms: climb or balance: stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Position requires person to be able to lift up to 70 pounds, walk and stand up to 75 percent of the day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
