CSP MISSION

The position supports the Marine Corps Consolidated Storage Program (CSP). The primary objective of the CSP is to provide organization and individual issue, recovery, storage, requisitioning, maintenance and repair, management (including visibility, accountability, automated shelf-life management, and forecasting) for the following families of items:

  • Infantry Combat Equipment
  • Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense Equipment
  • Special Training Allowance Pool Equipment
  • Soft walled Shelters and Camouflage Netting

 

Job Description:

Cherokee Nation Management & Consulting (CNMC) is seeking a Site Manager to provide management and operation services for the Marine Corps Consolidated Storage Program (CSP) worldwide network facilities and to maintain total asset visibility.  The contract is to provide USMC personnel and authorized customers with exceptional service through facilities from which to efficiently acquire and/or turn in serviceable items of equipment.  The services provided include, but is not limited to item management, accountability, total asset visibility, warehousing, inventory management and total lifecycle management of equipment (including disposal).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Deliverables):

  • The Site Manager (SM) is the first line supervisor specifically in place to manage contractor personnel, perform daily Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements and tasks, and mitigate issues and concerns directly affecting PWS requirements.
  • The SM is a skilled leader with experience in logistics, personnel and material management, and logistics IT. 
  • The SM will provide program regional and site resources to execute the CSP mission and serve as the primary point of contact to the Government representative. 
  • The SM is responsible for all contractor personnel within his/her physical management area of responsibility and is the primary contact for personnel issues and contract requirements fulfillment. 
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps organizational structure, processes and procedures is essential to the success of the Site Manager.

 

Supervisory/Management Authority:

Supervisory authority over CSP contract employees within his/her physical management area of responsibility.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area is required (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management). Additionally, they must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management
  • At least 6 years of experience in logistics management or supply chain management in lieu of degree
  • Must pass a federal background check to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  (example: specific software, soft skills, etc. – This gets deleted)

  • Possess written and oral communications skills, to include public speaking.
  • Possess excellent supervision/management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines and to prioritize appropriately.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  • Possess a solid track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Highly developed leadership skills that enable one to make sound decisions, mediate and resolve conflicts between multiple decision-making groups, and handle diverse and complex problems.
  • High-level analytical skills necessary to plan, organize, formulate innovative solutions and compile, analyze and evaluate data and prepare accurate reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to promote and maintain cooperative and courteous relationships between individuals with disparate interests
