SUMMARY
The contractor shall support U.S. Government representatives in all stages of the award process to ensure efficient and accurate communication with grantees/implementers. The contractor shall have the technical ability for activities including, but not limited to, communicating with the grantee during the pre-award phase on behalf of the Grant Officer (GO) and Project Officer (PO), organizing meetings between POs, GOs and grantees, providing technical assistance during award execution, assisting with award closeout, working on grant compliance activities, assisting in grant reviews or other inquiries, and other duties as assigned.
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Outreach Advisor (III) is expected to possess all qualifications qualities, including exemplified self-management, project management, and strategic thinking; as well as, expanded technical expertise and ability to gather and maintain information and significant attention to detail, and serve as a Senior Social Media Outreach Advisor and an integrated member of the program team.
  • The candidate will show the highest level of skills in the following: interpersonal skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing, problem solving and significant organizational leadership skills.
  • The Social Media Outreach Advisor III will be able to lead and train others in the office regarding the technical platforms and information utilized by the program.
  • An Outreach Advisor III will require little day-to-day direction to successfully complete projects assigned, will generally obtain approval from supervisor at project completion with minor revisions and will seek guidance from supervisors for assistance in resolving challenging issues.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Social Media Expert in new Outreach methods.
  • The candidate will include robust technical media skills and knowledge of media public affairs, communications and other outreach best practices and tools available to the U.S. government.
  • The candidate will also include technical media and graphics skills on such platforms as Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere and WordPress, among others, are critical.
  • Proficiency in photography is preferred.
  • The Social Media Advisor should have outstanding oral and written skills in Arabic and English at a level to draft, edit and correct outreach tools/products.
  • Other language or media requirements will be identified, as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years’ experience
  • Must have active Secret clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT
 Controlled climate office environment.
