The Senior Full Stack Developer provides support for the USDA Federal Grain Inspection Services. CNT must augment the implemented Service Workflow Management (SWM) web portal to allow FGIS personnel and its partners to exercise SWM functionality while unexpectedly disconnected from the internet.  We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to continue the enhancements to our Data Transmission System (DTS) that allows SWM capabilities at hundreds of potentially disconnected locations.  The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for updates and enhancements to DTS, which uses a disconnected architectural solution with synchronization using block chain & P2P technology. DTS also includes a requirement to allow transfer of components to the various locations across the United States providing a mechanism for doing software installations without any hands on intervention.


  • Develop scalable and maintainable MVC applications in C#, .NET
  • Review and extend the design of reliable and efficient big data databases in MS SQL Server including disconnected transaction integrity and data synchronization.
  • Develop web services using .NET Web API
  • Develop repositories with Entity Framework
  • Develop MS SQL Server databases
  • Work effectively in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Creatively solve problems, leverage new tools, implement cutting edge solutions
  • Contribute to our collective brain power through innovation and peer review
  • Understand and have experience working with a component based and disconnected architectural solutions.

  • 3+ years of experience as a software developer
  • 3+ years of experience of WPF and/or WinForms
  • 3+ years of advanced C#
  • 3+ years of Entity Framework
  • 3+ years of MS SQL Server
  • 3+ years of web development
  • Nice to have Peer to Peer (P2P) network experience
  • 1+ years of recent Microsoft Visual Studio
  • 1+ years of recent Component Based Architecture
  • Nice to have Go or Ethereum  


  • Excellent critical thinking and communications skills both oral and written
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screen
  • Have an USDA Linc Pass or have the ability to obtain one
  • Focus and independent drive to complete tasks
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
