CN3S is looking for:  System Integration Specialist

 

The Army continuously reviews and transforms the management technology (how things are done) of its business system (practices and software) within a system of systems. The goal of these efforts is to achieve operating and generating force readiness at best value by increasing effectiveness and efficiency, reducing costs, and maximizing resources. The Army G-8 matches available resources to the defense strategy and the Army plan through planning, developing, and resourcing programs that support Soldiers and are balanced between current force needs with future force capabilities. This is accomplished through participation in OSD–led defense reviews and assessments, the programming of resources, material integration, analytical and modeling capabilities, and the management of the Department of the Army studies and analysis.

 

Responsibilities:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Research, study and draft work flows of EE PEG and supporting processes, identify associated systems, data connections and document data gaps, data structures and provide recommended solutions to fill gaps and make critical connections to support EE PEG processes. Assist the division in coordinating review with external organizations including ASA(FMC), ASA(ALT), and G-8 PAE
  • Assist in analyzing data for quality and completeness and provide analysis and recommendations for data quality improvements.
  • Participate in Sprints, process reviews, Configuration Control board and Community of Interest boards and provide organizational support, analysis of problems presented, develop solutions and collect input for government consideration. Assist in the development of CCB and COI agendas, presentations and executive summaries for government review and approval.
  • Review training materiel for system training events and make recommended changes for government consideration.  Schedule training resources and coordinate for equipment as necessary for the students. Track attendance, distribute and collect surveys, consolidate survey data and provide summaries to the government for review. 
  • Maintain Division OneNote sections for process improvement, data issues, CCB, COI and training events. Attached documents, load summaries, update task lists as required.
  • Draft information papers, presentations, review documents and draft comments for government review on policies, actions and data collection tasks and update OneNote sections providing status and coordination actions.

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years business experience in information systems implementation, change management or business process design.

 

  • Document an organization’s current business process flows.
  • Lead clients through reengineering and transforming business processes.
  • Design, code and test functional components of information systems according to project specifications.
  • Identify and document functional requirements for information systems.
  • Develop project documentation and user training materials according to program specifications.
  • Conduct user training sessions.
  • Produce database extracts.
  • Provide technical support to software development teams.
  • Candidates must be eligible for a DoD CAC and able to obtain a Secret clearance
