Cherokee Nation Businesses – Federal Solutions, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our recruitment effort for several lines of business. The candidate be responsible for administrative duties (outlined below) required at various stages of our recruitment process and will report to one of our business sector Talent Acquisition Leads. This position will be located in Shirley, MA or Tulsa, OK.

Talent Acquisition Coordinator

This position will primarily be responsible for providing administrative support throughout the recruitment and placement process, assisting in managing the flow of candidates. This will include assisting recruiters in posting jobs, scheduling interviews, coordinating and tracking background checks and drug screening, validating documentation and answering candidate questions. This position will also assist in preparing recruitment metrics and other administrative support as required by the recruiting team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Work closely with recruiters to post jobs, schedule interviews, prepare job offer letters, and disposition candidates.
  • Work with the recruiter, hiring manager, HR Coordinator and successful candidate to complete the paperwork, and confirm start date.
  • Validate documentation, updating applicant tracking to ensure information is current. Post position openings, while working closely with the recruiting team on advertisements where needed.
  • Prepare staffing reports including open requisition updates and recruitment metrics.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or other related field and 0 to 2 years of recruiting support or other HR function experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of the Human Resources discipline and applicable state/federal laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HR specific systems including applicant tracking systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative and scheduling support.
  • Demonstrated experience with database entry and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality of information and identities.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment including the ability to create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A high level of customer service is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate controlled office environment. Occasional travel and overnight stay may be required.
