SUMMARY

 

Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) offers federal, state and local agencies a wide range of support services. CNSP focuses on quality performance. Services offered by Cherokee Nation Applicants Strategic Programs apply to all national security communities including federal, state and local intelligence communities, the military and law enforcement agencies. The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center requires the support of RCM and MPC development in support of its Standard Integration Maintenance effort.

 

We are seeking a Technical Draftsman to provide Electronic/Electrical drafting services to support the engineering change process through any and all engineering tasking required by SFLC PL and C4IT SC to accomplish the Elements of Logistics checklist and ensure alignment with standing Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Modify developed electronics/electrical drawings and correct drawing elements using AutoCAD software to align with USCG engineering drawing requirements
  • Draft new electronics/electrical technical drawings in alignment with USCG engineering drawing requirements and USCG Standard Drawing Template
  • Apply USCG standard border AutoCAD blocks
  • Modify revision markings to create an “Initial Release” drawings
  • Update tables, text, dimensions, as well as other drawing elements based off of detailed ‘red lined’ drawings.
  • Use CG-LIMS STIP technical portal for technical drawings.
  • Ensure all technical drawings are correct and complete and as well as conform to the USCG standard for technical drawings.
  • Identify associated technical drawings for review and required changes.
  • Use computer aided design in AutoCAD to prepare standard USCG drawings using provided (by the COR) templates and submit in .dwg format for AutoCAD 2014 or earlier.
  • Support includes administrative management support within the Electronics/Ordnance Branch for Life-Cycle Management activities
  • Attend meetings and conferences

 

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

 

  • This position does not have management authority or supervisory capacity

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

  • Minimum education requirement of an Associate’s degree or at least two (2) years of job-related experience preferred
  • Expert level ability to create and modify drawings, illustrations and diagrams using AutoCAD software
  • Able to gain an understanding of USCG general drawing practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of the Standard USCG Drawing Template

 

  • Ability to pass a NACI background investigation and obtain a government issued Common Access Card (CAC) to access USCG IT systems and facilities

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
