SUMMARY

 

We are seeking a Distribution specialist to assist in the management and maintenance of the technical documents within the USCG Coast Guard-Logistics Information Management System Surface Technical Information Portal (CG-LIMS STIP).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

 

Locate, reproduce and package technical data from CG systems for scheduled distributions to support document orders, dry-dock availabilities and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

 

This is detailed-oriented work requiring the processing of annual, quarterly and special request of CD’s, DVD’s and hard copy artifacts etc. for distribution to a wide array of Surface Community customers.

 

Perform other job-related duties as required.

 

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

 

None.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

  • Minimum education requirement of an Associates degree or at least two (2) tears of task related experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience with working in teams and individually.
  • Working knowledge of word processing software applications.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products to develop written documents, track requirements and other project specific tasks.

 

Self-driven ability to seek tasking with little to no oversight from management.

Office work environment.
