Cherokee Nation Technologies (CNT) supports the U.S. Geologic Survey (USGS) across the United States. CNT is currently looking for a Temporary Researcher I Specialist to assist the USGS, at their St. Petersburg, FL, site.

CNT is currently looking for Temporary Researcher I level to provide technical expertise and assist in the research and mission
 

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the workshop, including communicating with and distributing paperwork to the attendees, taking notes, transcribing notes onto a large white board
  • Compile notes from attendees following the workshop
  • Draft white paper, a fact sheet, or other forms of literature based on the compiled notes and further communication and assistance from the workshop attendees
  • Distribute the draft to the attendees for their review and input
  • Drafting a USGS document (fact sheet, OFR), etc.
  • Schedule and deliverables that may oral, written, or electronic documentation of data sets including but not limited to: notes from the workshop, draft products from the notes USGS format publication

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of geosciences is preferred in order for the successful candidate to understand the context of the workshop and content of reports.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in report writing
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
