Training Manager Tulsa, OK or Telecommuting  (ID#13275)

**Spanish fluency is mandatory.** 
Five (5) years minimum relevant experience including training curriculum development and working knowledge of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) equipment and processes required.

Training Manager to provide user training for operation and user level maintenance for transportation security equipment (TSE), CCTV systems, and biometric access control systems utilizing industry and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) best practices. The Training Manager must coordinate with OEM instructors, be familiar with all equipment, and be native or fluent Spanish speakers (equivalent to Federal Government language standard 3/3 or higher).  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with original equipment manufacturer to provide training and must travel to all airports in the task order to conduct training on the proper use and maintenance of each piece of equipment and the overall system(s)
    • Equipment includes advanced imaging technology, advanced x-ray screening systems, bottle liquid scanners, and explosive trace detection units
  • Coordinate with original equipment manufacturer and must provide training and include material (in Spanish and English) necessary to understand and operate the CCTV/video security system
  • Generate a training curriculum and develop training materials that includes calibration and user-level preventative maintenance in Spanish appropriate for the equipment at each airport
  • Conduct the training on all shifts to ensure all staff members are trained in the proper use of the equipment at their respective airports
  • Use both in-class and “hands-on” training with the actual equipment to ensure proper transfer of knowledge
  • Additional training for the security teams using the video surveillance system and biometric security doors will be required
  • Training must include how to perform site acceptance testing of equipment and systems and when and how to contact technical support
  • Work closely with the airport personnel to schedule, the deployments in accordance with the training ability
  • Provide training to operators for Level 1 Corrective Maintenance for users to effect minor repairs to the TSE that does not require trained technicians (i.e. bag jams, reboots, etc.) and Level 1 Preventative Maintenance for users to perform general preventative maintenance that does not require opening the unit
  • Coordinate with airport personnel, end users, client, and technical subject matter experts to support integration optimization training (to be provided by others)
  • Manage classroom dynamics and resolve routine classroom problems;
  • Monitor and evaluate training and provide enhancements on needed adjustments
  • Maintain communication with management and supervisors concerning issues with training
  • Develop simulator training and assist with training logistics support components (e.g., coordinating needed supplies and materials)

EDUCATON AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills (both oral and written) are mandatory
  • Flexibility and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Must be selfstarter and work independently with limited direction
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and a background check is mandatory
  • Ability to obtain passport and travel internationally is mandatory
  • Must possess U.S. citizenship or be a U.S. National
  • Must be native or fluent Spanish speaker (equivalent to Federal Government language standard 3/3 or higher)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Telecommuting is acceptable with up to 50% international and domestic travel
  • Supervise training staff
