SUMMARY

The Ultrasound Tech will perform abdomen, breast, fetal, echocardiography, neurosonology, and obstetrics and gynecology. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Perform abdomen, breast, fetal, echocardiography, neurosonology, and obstetrics and gynecology. 

  • Performs other job related duties as required.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Must have completed at least two years of training in an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program and be certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Must have a minimum of two years of experience providing ultrasound technologist services for abdomen, breast, fetal, echocardiography, neurosonology, and obstetrics and gynecology.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is the only program accepted.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is primarily performed in a climate controlled and professional office setting.
