SUMMARY

The Data Analyst provides support drafting response documentation and sending correspondence, coordinating administrative tasks, data entry and cataloguing with guidance, data analysis and review, and supporting our federal client, Federal Aviation Administration.  This person is also responsible for advice, research, analysis, technical, and clerical input on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) inquires.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Performs data entry and cataloguing
  • Performs data extraction, review, and analysis
  • Processing requests for support.
  • Generates reports, if needed.
  • Drafts and proof reads documents.
  • Provide advice, research, analysis, technical, and clerical input for FOIA documents
  • File FOIA inquiries and associated response packages and supporting material into Government archives.
  • Confidentiality, discreet handling of all business.
  • Initiative, be a self-starter, ability to start and complete tasks successful without being constantly supervised.
  • Organized and able to multitask ongoing projects with excellence.
  • Performs a variety of administrative functions.
  • Must be able to pass a security clearance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Travels locally and long distance, when required, to attend client meetings, conferences, or other events.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university and 2-4 years of specific work related experience. Previous work supporting federal government clients or the FAA in particular is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is primarily performed in a climate controlled office setting.
