CMM Mechanical Inspector, Pryor, OK ID#17047
Cherokee Nation Aerospace & Defense is a contract manufacturer and integrator of electro-mechanical assemblies, including distribution, kitting and the manufacturing of cable and wire harness assemblies. The CNAD manufacturing team is experienced with projects that require expertise in medium to complex integration of ground support, test, flight hardware and armament systems. CNAD is ISO9000:2000 and AS 9100 certified and can serve as a prime contractor on Department of Defense contracts or as a sub-contractor to large aerospace primes. CNAD has the unique ability to team with other Cherokee owned tribal companies or partner with other companies to accommodate large complex contract opportunities. The CMM inspector develops/writes CMM programs to check manufactured mechanical parts. Feedback is provided back to production and supervisor following inspection results. Programming includes development of both first piece inspection programs and production inspection plans. Inspection of manufactured mechanical parts is expected as necessary based on production demand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):
No Supervisory responsibility. Medium assignments received in broad terms with time lines and objectives set.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years experience in programming and operating a CMM in a manufacturing environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Moderate sound (e.g., business office with office machines and computers, people traffic), some outdoor weather conditions and all routine job tasks inherent in position; the ability to stand and walk one-third to two-third of the time; the ability to talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; close vision; color vision; depth perception and ability to correct and adjust focus.
