CNSP is recruiting for a Database Manager with the Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Acquisition Management & Integration Center (AMIC) to support its Counter Narcotics & Global Threats (CNGT) division. This position will perform a wide variety of complex duties in support of CNGT, but will focus on the administration and maintenance of a complex, cloud structured Government database to house counter narcotics metrics information and store USG owned data in support of counter-narcotics requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain complex, cloud structured US Federal Government (USG) database to house counter narcotics metrics information and store USG owned data;
  • Ensure continuous operation of the database;
  • Edit, update, modify data base web based platform as directed by USCENTCOM PM;
  • Provide the USG with a minimum of thirty (30) access/log-in points with concurrent read and write access;
  • Contractor will be required to supply the CNSP Program Manager with monthly information needed to maintain database and programming of the database costs;
  • The USG will retain ownership of all data stored within the database;
  • Develop and construct a new area for the database to include financials as directed by the USCENTCOM PM;
  • Expand the development of the Assessment Monitoring and Evaluation (AM&E) area to include the capability to host surveys, and to tally the results in a report. The surveys may be changed quarterly as directed by the USCENTCOM PM. The surveys must be accessible to persons who do not have a user account for the database to provide access to the survey only;

Supervisory/Management Authority:

This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of database management experience is required
  • A minimum of an associate degree is required in Information Technology, Database Management, or an associated field

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Active Secret Clearance verified in JPAS is required
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen
  • Candidates will be subject to a US Federal Government background investigation and must favorably pass a drug screen
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and judgment skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Prior military or Federal agency experience is preferred

Work Environment:

Workspace will be in a US Government Facility with controlled access and/or military installation
