The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Program Manager (PM) to manage critical/support activities across a diverse set of projects. These activities include, but are not limited to; compiling technical, financial, and other project data using various database programs; tracking project deliverables and coordinating project related activities between the PM, customers and the business leadership to ensure performance standards and customer requirements are met.


Includes the following:

  • Develop, maintain and update tracking systems for project documentation
  •  Support special reports, analyses, preparing information that will assist in analyzing/resolving problems
  • Utilize company applications to prepare budgets and financial forecasts for contract work and performs and/or assist in financial analyses/risk analyses.
  • Assist with the initiation of new projects/task orders including development and planning tasks, identifying and coordinating with project stakeholders, identifying and coordinating project activities, development and upkeep of project plans and schedules.
  • Assist in analyzing funding requirements and process funding modifications in system cost as well as schedule performance for moderate to large projects, using tools such as Deltek B&P, Salesforce, SAP Concur.
  • Monitor task order activities, deliverables and tasks are being met in accordance with contract timelines, performance standards and customer requirements.
  • Project communication to include initiating and tracking stakeholder engagement via meetings and follow-up to ensure activities are met on or before target completion dates.
  • Document management of all changes within assigned contracts to ensure version control and good record keeping.
  • Working with the PM to reschedule and/or reassign tasks as needed with leadership approval in keeping with project goals.
  • Update trackers and report progress of activities for project deliverables/milestones to.
  • Serve as a company representative at a variety of multi-stakeholder forums.
  • Field employee questions regarding clients, contracts and work direction. 
  • Monitor employee behavior and performance, provides feedback, conduct reviews and recommend disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain consistent records and reporting as required by the contract. 
  • Ensure timely communications and use of established processes with internal support departments.
  • Maintain communication with the client to build rapport and ensure satisfaction with the staff and deliverables provided. 
  • Develop expectations to present qualified candidates, solicit feedback, set up interviews and recommends salary offers. Coordinate with the recruiting team to provide information needed to fill staffing needs.
  • General administrative tasks include assisting with document management, correspondence and contact databases.
  • Performs other tasks related to contract/employees support.


Assists with the management of multiple projects and personnel without having direct supervisory responsibilities


Bachelor Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance or related field is preferred with three to five (3-5) years of contract management or project management experience, with at least one year of experience in a federal contracting environment.


  • Knowledge of federal government contracting.
  • Must possess excellent follow through skills.
  • Ability to follow established processes to accomplish various program support objectives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to manager multiple projects and assignments efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention for detail.
  • Must be motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Team oriented professional with mission driven approach.
  • Interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
  • Proven experience of Microsoft office suite Excel, PowerPoint and MS PowerPoint.


This position is primarily performed in a climate controlled office setting. May also require travel by car or plane.
