Cherokee Nation Technologies (CNT) supports USGS in its leadership role in conducting ecological research regarding Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) related science throughout the 5 States of the Center. HAB studies include streams (ex. Buffalo River Basin in Arkansas), lakes and reservoirs (current needs in Arkansas and Tennessee), and coastal systems (ex. Mississippi Sound). Candidates must possess skill sets that include field data collection of all types of biological and water quality samples and other analytical skills including GIS and scripting (R and/or Python), and management of large data sets.
CNT is looking for a Researcher to support our team in its mission conduct biological and water quality data collection, compilation, and computation activities. Work efforts affect the accuracy, reliability, or acceptability of the data. Results of these activities will be used by project personnel for specific purposes. Below are the requirements:
