The Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) is responsible for providing responsive, flexible full-spectrum installation engineering services. AFCEC’s missions include facility investment planning, design and construction, operations support, real property management, energy support, environmental compliance and restoration, and audit assertions, acquisition and program management. The unit conducts its operations at more than 75 locations worldwide.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate selected for this position will perform a broad range of program management for AFCEC military construction and renovation projects at across the Air Force. Job duties include planning, coordinating, reporting, and briefing activities in such fields as architecture, construction, and engineering. Experience analyzing and reporting performance and financial metrics for AF construction programs. Expertise in ACES/TRIRIGA/ reporting systems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related field
Minimum of 10 years of construction industry experience
An additional 6 years of construction industry experience can be substituted for a Masters
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Prefer experience with Department of Defense (DoD) design and construction policies and standards
Prefer experience with military construction and renovation projects
